Excellent 3 season jacket

The Flowtour 7.5 is a fantastic jacket. I wanted a 3 season jacket that leaned to more cooling than warmth and the Flowtour nailed it. The overall quality and construction is excellent and the design is very well thought-out. There are a ton of pockets. Adjustability around waist and arms is very good. There is no wind resistance on the highway and all the fabric lays in the right places both sitting and standing. The cuffs and neck line are comfortable even with the waterproof liner in place. The pads sit in the right places for me. The waterproof liner is not an afterthought and is actually functional. I haven't been rained on yet but the liner does serve as a decent wind breaker inside the shell for cooler days. The jacket will do very very well on hot days with plenty of ventilation, it feel like a moto jersey. The jacket with liner could be pushed to about 45-50*F with a good base layer. Without the liner it is serviceable well into the 90*F's. I did not want a jacket that would be hot off road in the SE USA summers and this is not a problem. Fit is a little snug, especially if you are used to Klim or other boxier cut jackets. I like the form fitting design, even with the pads it doesn't feel bulky. I'm 5'10", 160lb with a 40" chest and the medium with liner fits perfectly but with little room underneath for more than a base layer.

FlowTour 7.5 is a true 3-season adventure suit that maximizes comfort in warm to hot weather

It packs a lot of features for a mid-priced adventure suit like the large, heavy-duty strap on the back of the jacket that makes it easy to carry or hang, the extensive armor, or the integrated hydration pouch that is designed to pull from your shoulders rather than your neck, and I also appreciated the ID pocket on the forearm that is an easy place to stash earplugs, a small wallet, cash for tolls, or a credit card. Seamless neck brace integration and easy knee pad positioning are other nice touches that really set the FlowTour apart.
