LEATT 2026 MOTO | RIDE THE FUTURE

COMPANY VALUES

Our Commitment

We believe that our corporate responsibility goes beyond our day-to-day business and therefore every effort will be made to conserve resources throughout our operations.

The growth of our company depends on our ability to minimize or eliminate our impact on our surroundings. Our company's future and the future of our environment are interconnected.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Sustainability

Our comprehensive approach to environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices.

Sustainable Packaging

Our corn-starch bags, originally selected for being home-compostable, have been upgraded to meet commercially compostable standards (ASTM D6400, EN 13432, AS 4736), certified by BPI and TÜV Austria.

This change brings significant improvements in:

Durability and storage stability
Controlled decomposition in industrial facilities
Moisture and weight resistance
Extended across all packaging lines

We are extending this upgrade across all packaging lines, including Apparel and Gloves.

Sustainable Care Instructions

Extend the life of your Leatt products while minimizing environmental impact through proper care. Following these sustainable washing practices helps preserve both product performance and our planet.

Eco-Friendly Care Guidelines:

Wash in cold water (30°C or less)
Use eco-friendly, biodegradable detergents
Air dry when possible to save energy
Turn garments inside out before washing
Wash full loads to maximize efficiency
Remove protective pads before washing

Important: Avoid These Practices

• No fabric softeners (damages technical fabrics and protective properties)

• No bleach or harsh chemicals (compromises safety features)

• No high heat drying (can damage technical materials)

Plastic-Free Packaging

Sustainable Materials

Using environmentally certified fabrics where safety allows.

Renewable Energy

Transitioning operations to green energy where possible.

IMPLEMENTATION

Actionable Steps

Our concrete initiatives and measurable actions toward environmental responsibility.

In 2021 we commenced implementation of plastic-free packaging.
We only use paper, cardboard, and cornstarch packaging for all products except spare parts.
Spare parts and master box tape will from 2023/24 production use recyclable plastic only.
We have started a project to only use environmentally certified fabrics in our garment production.
Many of our garments now use environmental fabric.
We target to use a certified body to verify our garments' environmental impact as soon as practically possible.
We aim to select environmentally friendly options when designing products except where it can potentially compromise the safety performance of the product.
We strive to comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations in the designated sales area.
We continuously work to reduce our energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by utilizing renewable energy sources, where possible and applicable.
This includes to be set with green energy supply or will be set with green energy supply when renegotiating lapsing contracts.
Environmental impact will be considered in the acquiring of APEX transportation modes.
We continue to minimize waste and pollution by implementing a waste reduction initiative and promoting the recycling and reuse of materials.
We endeavor to implement a clear internal policy that favours environmentally friendly options for all internal office and hygiene consumables.
An environmental assessment will be a factor in the selection of 3rd party suppliers or contractors, where possible.
We strive to promote sustainable transportation by encouraging our employees and customers to use public transportation, carpool, or cycle to work.
