Description

The ADV 9.5 Carbon helmet kit provides ultimate protection and performance for adventurous riders. It is constructed from a six layer carbon matrix and four densities of impact foam, strategically fixed to maximize protection, reduce shell size and weight. Furthermore, it features Leatt’s patented 360º Turbine Technology, where the energy absorption of the turbines helps reduce the low-speed impact energy to the head and brain. The helmet is conveniently fastened with a Fidlock magnetic buckle which can be quickly and easily secured wearing gloves.

An ADV helmet is different to an off-road helmet, it is designed to minimize drag and lift for a smoother ride at higher speeds. Independent wind tunnel testing has shown up to 8% less drag and up to 38% less lift than benchmark adventure helmets. The extra wide eye port and face shield delivers unmatched vision, resulting in increase rider safety and comfort. Riders can easily transition between road use and off-road use thanks to the easy-twist toolless release mechanism. Simply twist and unclip the face shield to wear goggles and maximize airflow.

The ADV 9.5 Carbon helmet is outstanding value for money. Sold as a kit, the helmet comes with a photochromic and clear face shield, Leatt 4.5 Iriz goggles and a Pinlock 120 MaxVision XLT anti-fog shield.

Great with only one flaw…

I absolutely love this helmet! Very carefully thought out in every aspect. Easily fit the Cardo 45mm speakers and was excited about this upgrade. Comfortable on long rides and the helmet is relatively quiet when compared to most others. I do have a rattle/buzzing that seems to be coming from the visor 9 (outside the helmet)when the air hits it just right. Annoying for sure, but I’m hoping I can figure out a remedy. That being said I would highly recommend this helmet for value and overall quality. I would give 5 stars all around if the noise I’m experiencing wasn’t present

lightweight and comfortable

So far, Leatt’s new adventure helmet is impressing me, and I’m continuing to wear it, whether that’s been testing the new Honda NT1100 in the warmth of Spain or while riding the Yamaha Ténéré 7oo in the UK winter

I found a lot to like about the Carbon

I found a lot to like about the Carbon. For starters, it fits me perfectly and is as comfortable as any helmet I’ve worn. Second, the aerodynamics are excellent—no buffeting, buzzing, or catching in the breeze. Next, the photochromic shield adjusts immediately to lighting changes. And finally, the Pinlock insert kept the shield clear in a double-whammy of rain and fog. Leatt has a contender here, offering a high quality, lightweight helmet with first-rate accessories at a competitive price.
