Leatt introduces Nukeproof Axess Racing

Back to Black

At the dawn of each new season, the typical parade of shiny new machines and bright, flashy team kits often overshadows the athletes themselves.

As we proudly introduce this brand-new squad, we refrained from the conventional flood of color specifically to highlight two of the team’s dynamic personalities as they tackle one of the most exciting events of the year.

Louise Ferguson and Mille Johnset provide all the color we need to see at this first monument of the 2026 season.

Lou, the UK National DownHill champion and the first woman to complete – and win – Red Bull Hardline, will be defending her title. Mille is eager to showcase her
unique mix of raw speed and creative style.

Nukeproof Axess Racing (short NAR) is an entirely new team, with new riders, new bikes and new kit. It’s a total factory reset form2026. NAR utilizes top-shelf equipment from SRAM, ROCKSHOX, Schwalbe, and the inhouse resources of Nukeproof’s parent company, the Belgian Cycling Factory.

Leatt takes on the creative lead in this new team, and we’re working to create something bold, different, and more meaningful, than a simple quest for results.

Things are set to really hot up on the team design front as the season unfolds, so keep your eyes peeled!
